Templates and AI drafts
Discover can do more than collect links. If you enable template usage, the AI can create a draft when a finding is strong enough to publish from.
Enable template usage
Section titled “Enable template usage”- Turn on Allow AI to Run Templates.
- Write Template usage instructions that say when to use a template and when not to.
Examples:
Only use templates when the content is highly relevant to breaking news and contains verified information from reputable sources.
Do not use templates for opinion pieces or unverified claims.
Select templates
Section titled “Select templates”- Open Select Templates.
- Choose individual templates, or Select All.
- Review the selected list before saving.
Only enable templates that match the feed. A regulatory-monitoring feed should not be allowed to use a newsletter-roundup template unless that is actually what you want.
Add per-template descriptions
Section titled “Add per-template descriptions”For each selected template, click Add Description and tell the AI when that template is the right fit.
Example:
Use this template for breaking news that needs to publish quickly. Stay with confirmed facts and include quotes from primary sources.
Save the description, or press Enter. Use Shift+Enter for a new line. You can edit a description later.
Draft notifications
Section titled “Draft notifications”In the template section, you can also turn on email notifications. You will get a message when the AI:
- Finds relevant content
- Uses one of the selected templates
- Creates a draft that is ready for review
Those automatic drafts land in My Queue, not in My Drafts. Review them there before you open one as a draft or publish it. The first few runs are the best time to tighten instructions.
