Chat with Jo

Chat is Jo’s desk on the draft. Ask about the copy, the sources, or something you have not attached yet. Jo can rewrite a passage in place, search, or pull a file into Sources.

The composer placeholder is Ask anything about your draft, source materials, or the web…

Type an instruction the way you would brief a reporter: “Convert the bullets to a paragraph in AP style” or “Tighten the dek and keep the price.”

When Jo edits the document, the change is marked in the draft. Accept or Reject each one. Chat also links Show this edit in the document so you can jump to the passage.

Jo can only apply the templates you have on this workspace. A blurb is a saved chat snippet. Click Send saved prompt next to the composer to drop one in.

New conversation starts a fresh thread. Browse chat threads opens earlier ones. The default title is Untitled Thread until you rename it.

If the draft is in a project, Jo also sees that project’s instructions, memories, and todos.

Jo can call tools while it answers. You will see labels such as:

What you asked What Jo is doing
Look something up online Searching the web
Find a past post Searching the CMS
Open a URL Reading article
Pull a CMS post Fetching post
Use an attached file Parsing file or Reading source
Keep a result Saving source
Change the draft Editing document
Run an assignment Running template

CMS search needs content fetching set up by an admin. Web and newswire search do not.

Add attachment on the composer uploads from your computer, Google Drive, or Dropbox. Those files go with the message.

The composer shows the current model, for example Claude Sonnet 4.6. Open the picker to switch. Edisource remembers your last choice. Thinking level is available on models that support it.

Use a faster model for short rewrites. Use a stronger model when Jo has to read several sources or draft a longer pass.

Check the copy against its sources with Audit a draft. Fill headline, slug, and SEO on Post settings.
